Super welcoming vibes here! the staff is incredibly nice and the location is just perfect, right near the historic center. They serve a delicious breakfast with local bread, fresh pastries, and the cappuccinos are top-notch! 🌟

I thoroughly enjoyed the room with all modern conveniences. The location was magnificent, right at a monumental 1200s cathedral.

Location: the venue was near to an old church and good restaurants and many sights in the day. Stopped by Gahve - Coffee & Drink to get some coffee and treats, it's easy walk to the venue, recommend...

our double room was equipped with all the amenities as well as all modern conveniences. hanger and clothes hanger were very handy.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was quite slow.

The room was beautifully decorated, with a unique cave-like atmosphere that added to the charm of the stay. the shower was spacious and provided a refreshing experience. the location was perfect, right next to the historic center and close to all the main attractions. It was so convenient to be able to explore the city without having to go far.

The high humidity in the cave was a bit uncomfortable, but this is a common issue in these types of accommodations. the owner was aware of this and mentioned plans to install a de-humidifying system in the future.

matera is always an incredible place, but stone rooms made our stay even better. the hosts were amazing, and we had an unforgettable experience sleeping in a cave. breakfast was also top-notch. highly recommend stone rooms for an authentic matera stay.

Coffee in the room would've been nice.

I had the most very nice experience staying in a cave room! It was like stepping back in time and immersing myself in the history of the city. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom. Giuseppe, the host, were really nice too ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He even helped me with my luggage and provided excellent local recommendations. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town but still close to where I parked my car. I loved being able to explore Matera on foot, with everything just a few minutes away. I highly recommend staying at Stone Rooms for a unique and lovely experience.
